In this week's Quick Clip, co-hosts Chris Cebollero and Kelly Grayson talk about Tessie Odom Smith, a Florence (S.C.) paramedic that recently lost her right leg as the result of a collision between an ambulance and a drunk driver. The driver was charged with DUI and also for driving on a suspended license. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help her family with expenses and medical bills.
Kelly talks about how firefighters and police officers understand the concept of brotherhood, but claims EMS does not do enough rallying when one of our own is down. Chris begs the question regarding the lack of brotherhood: Is it because the EMS career field isn't united as one?
