OTTAWA, Ontario — The Ottawa Paramedic Peer Support Team provides outreach and support to paramedics with a certified therapy dog. Max, a golden retriever, is a member of the team and regularly visits paramedics on-duty and attends events.
Max shares his visits and the happy paramedics he meets on his Facebook page and he tweets as @MedicTherapyDog. "Max lowers heart rates and blood pressures and always brings a smile to your face," states his Facebook bio.
Here are some photos of Max's work on the Ottawa Paramedic Peer Support Team.
